We come together to help schools get ready for the new school year, to help our local schools become a premier learning environment for our kids. Full Day Kindergarten Start date September 9
Though Northshore School District’s first day of school is set for Sept. 6 for most students, full-day kindergarten students will have a three-day delayed start to provide time for families to meet with teachers. The first day of school for full-day kindergarten will be Friday, Sept. 9. The delayed start is for full-day students only; half-day kindergarten students will start with most other grade levels on Tuesday, Sept. 6.  The three-day delayed start for full-day kindergarten provides time for personal meetings between families and teachers in order to build relationships for a successful year.
